First stop? Birmingham
Super fun, super late night for our first round of glitterball-worthy tanning on the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour. Popping up our tant tents in a luxury Birmingham spa we lined up our mists, piled up the paper pants and unpeeled the sticky feet all ready for all the celebrities and dancers to get back from rehearsals.
As soon as they’d ticked off their tangos and sorted out those sambas in the nearby Barclaycard Arena everyone from Karen Clifton to Chloe Hewitt and AJ Pritchard came to see us to get their bronze on. It was one slick, flawless tanning conveyor belt, with two tanning rooms, me and top Sienna X tanners Laura and Charlie on spray tan gun duty and the lovely Amanda helping out to ensure everyone had a glow to go.
After four months of tanning time on the Strictly TV show, it was like a school reunion catching up with all our dancefloor regulars. ‘I’ve missed this,’ said the dreamy Danny Mac as he donned his paper cap and got his 16% tan on. ‘I am so pale, it’s amazing to get tanned again.’ Louise Redknapp opted for light 12% misting to give her that classic Sienna X natural glow as did Ed Balls, requesting ‘Lanzarote in Spring’ as his ideal tanning goal. ‘I’m still not doing a full Jeremy Vine!’ he joked before disappearing into the Sienna X tan tent.
The dancers upped their bronzed game, going a little darker for the press calls and their opening night debuts. Everyone on the Strictly team is working so, so hard with a hectic schedule to get everything nailed, polished and perfect for the fans; it was such a treat to make them look and feel fresh from the outside in with our top Sienna X Tans.
Keep your eyes peeled on our social media feeds and here for all the first show tan looks plus all the backstage gossip and exclusive pics from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.
See you in Newcastle!
