But first let’s start with the basics! There a few key things you can do to extend the longevity of your tan and ensure that your sun-kissed skin looks beautifully golden for longer than a week. Start off by moisturising your entire body with a hydrating lotion every day – this will reduce the occurrence of dry skin and prevent the top layer of your skin cells from falling away. It is these skin cells that are coloured during a spray tan treatment so it’s vital to keep them hydrated. Although your skin cells will naturally slough off and cause your tan to gradually lighten, just a slick of moisturiser can slow down the process considerably.
Avoid using harsh shower gels that can dry the skin and strip your bronzed skin of its golden sheen. Stick to gentle products, like sienna X Ph Balance Body Wash, and your tan will last for just that little bit extra.
If all else fails and you need to top up your fake tan you can always try Express Tanning Mist. This superb product can be spritzed over any areas of the body where your tan has begun to fade.
