2 Min Read Friday 16th September 2011

Marks and blemishes on the skin can be camouflaged with a cleverly applied spray tan.

Opt for a fake tan if you want to mask the marks on your skin.

Stretch marks, varicose veins and other conditions that scar the skin can be hidden away with an enriching spray tan, helping you to feel body confident and secure in your skin.

Although it is possible to eliminate blemishes like stretch marks and remove thread veins from the skin through a series of medical treatments, they can be costly, time consuming and painful. A spray tan, applied with a light layering of liquid bronzer, can do almost the same job in the space of 10 minutes, leaving you with skin you can be proud of.

Stretch marks tend to affect pregnant women and teenagers who have gained or lost weight rapidly during puberty – in fact any period of time where the skin has had to expand quickly can result in tears in the dermis. This tearing fades over time but never quite blends away into the skin completely. The scars are harmless and pose no health problems, however, they do make many people feel insecure about their appearance.

The good news is that an emollient spray tan can help the skin’s natural melanin look more uniform and in some cases it will completely cover up smaller marks and lines that are the result of weight gain or other genetic skin disorders. Combined with cleverly applied bronzer, many scars will become unnoticeable¬†to the naked eye, which is ideal for those who want hide their problem areas from view without spending a fortune.
