James Harknett: Spring Tanning
Hello Sienna X lovers,
Well, spring has well and truly sprung early this year for me and all things Sienna X! It’s been so inspiring to meet so many other Sienna X therapists at my Masterclasses. I have learnt so much from every class, and I absolutely love sharing my 15 years of knowledge and stories with such amazing tanners. Can’t wait for more classes this summer!
I have been doing lots of TV work so far this year, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has kept me busy (it’s always a treat to spray Ashley Roberts in Touché De Soleil on a Friday afternoon!) As well as that I’ve also had the pleasure tanning the lovely Emma Willis for The BBC1 Voice live shows – she’s a big fan of an 8% glow. She was also sporting a tan by me in her recent Gillette campaign. And whilst I’ve been doing all of this, my assistant Ashley has been keeping me bronzed, spraying me each week. Watch out world, he’s fast becoming a James H Pro!
This spring/summer season I’ve been asked by many journalists on how to contour a tan at home. My method using Sienna X Dark Glowing lotion was featured in Hello Magazine last month. Keep your eyes peeled, I have loads more contouring tips and product combos which I’ll be sharing in the UK press this summer…
I loved being part of the team at Professional Beauty (Excel) in February, it’s always great to see fellow tanners and catch up on the latest trends and innovations. I was very excited to use the new True Touch spray tan technology that was debuted. It’s push button technology allows complete control with my bespoke service at the W Hotel.
As always, please keep your questions and queries coming in to me at Sienna HQ – its my pleasure to share tips and tanning experiences with all of you. You can email your questions to [email protected], tweet @SiennaXOfficial, or post on the Facebook wall! I look forward to hearing from you soon and I’ll be back in the Summer to give you all another update!
