Fake tanning is a superb tool for highlighting and defining your curves. Here are five ways to sculpt your shape with sunless tanner and a few clever make up techniques:
- Ask your tanning therapist to apply a slightly darker shade of tanner down the sides of your torso, thighs and arms to slim down your look. These darker areas will ‘fade back’, allowing the lighter areas in the centre of your body to come to the forefront, creating the illusion of a trim and toned figure. You can do this at home too¬†using two different shades of fake tan — simply apply the lighter colour over¬†your entire body and then once it’s developed and been washed off apply the darker shade down the sides.
- Cover up blemishes and remedy uneven pigmentation by applying a touch of tanner over your face. The honey-coloured tone of a warm tan will give you the perfect base to begin applying contouring cosmetics.
- Apply a highlighter over your cheekbones to draw attention to the natural angles of your face. Our Illuminating Pencil Trio is perfect for sweeping over the cheekbones and brow-bones –¬†the chunky crayon is easy to use and gives you complete control when it comes to¬†emphasising the areas of your face that naturally catch the light. Each box contains a gold, silver and bronze pencil so you can match your highlighter to the rest of your make up. The eye-catching results give the skin a dewy and glamorous finish that reflects the light and underscores the peaks of your face.
- Sweep¬†a warm bronzer (or a slightly darker shade of foundation than your natural colour) over the area that’s¬†just below your cheekbones — start from your ears and move towards the centre¬†of your cheeks. This will add shade to your face and¬†will make your cheekbones pop when combined with a highlighter.
- Moisturise your decolletage with Radiance Body Balm to highlight your neckline. The gold flecks in the luxurious formulation will accentuate your collar bone and turn it into an instant focal point.
