Deep clean your equipment for a fresh start to 2016!

We hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas and that it has been a profitable festive season for you… No doubt you’ll be booked up until the final hour on New Years Eve, but once the madness has subsided, start to think about preparing for your January trade.

Your Tanning Machine

It’s likely that your normal cleaning routine may have fallen by the wayside throughout the busy winter season, so now is a great time to have a good clean of your machine and get it looking and working like new again. Your Tanning Cubicle

Wait for a dry day (eventually!) and take your cubicle outside. Hose it down to wash away any excess tan and then use warm soapy water to give it a good scrub down. Allow it to dry out properly (it can air out indoors if the weather won’t hold out for you!) and don’t fold it away until you’re happy that it is completely dry.

Your Extractor

If you have an extractor fan, now is a good time to check your filters. If your filters aren’t changed regularly, they will become ineffective and your warrantee will become voided. Your Treatment Room

Nothing is more offputting than an unclean treatment area – it doens’t give your clients any confidence in you as a therapist and can be potentially hazardous to both of you. Have a good clen up and invest in a new scented candle to help you create a calm and peaceful area. If you’re a mobile therapist, think about giving your car a good clean – you wouldn’t turn up with dirty nails or epuipment, so don’t let your vehicle tarnish your reputation either!
