We’re thrilled to share that Sienna X founder Nicky Matthews has been recognised as one of the best in the business after being named as a finalist under Health & Beauty in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

It’s a huge achievement as Worcester-based Nicky is one of the few shortlisted business leaders from across the nation to have been selected out of over 5,300 entrants. That’s the most the awards has ever had!

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges and champions the work and uplifting stories of business owners across the UK. The emphasis is on their journey and resilience over financial achievements.

On her progress in the competition, Nicky said: “We wouldn’t be here without the passion, support and expertise of our amazing Sienna X team, suppliers and partners. 18 years of loving what we do, helping customers and clients be and feel their very best, has been a journey of creativity, discovery and joy.”

Nicky’s journey began with a light-bulb moment. She watched her children play with a toy tent, leading to the invention of the pop up spray tan cubicle. As customers began to demand a wider product offering, Sienna X was born. Fast forward and tens of thousands of lives have been transformed through beauty. Established in the market for over 18 years, Sienna X is trusted for providing expertise, premium formulas and proven results for ultimate client and customer satisfaction.

Twelve awards will be given out per region for categories including Disruptor of the Year, Entrepreneur for Good Award, and the Great British Entrepreneur of the Year. You might recognise some of the winners from previous years, including Social Chain founder Steven Bartlett. He’s now the youngest ever investor on BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. The alumni has collectively generated over £30 billion in revenue and employed more than 450,000 people.

“The quality of applications is consistently excellent year on year, but we have been especially blown away by the innovation, drive and determination demonstrated this year,” said Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Francesca James.

“Shortlisting from so many inspiring contenders has been more challenging than ever, with many deserving cases put forward and an ever-growing business community thriving across the country. From the pandemic to the ongoing cost of living crisis, business owners haven’t had it easy over the past few years. It’s a testament to the tenacity and perseverance of these entrepreneurs that they have continued their path and refused to give in.”

The winners will be announced in London on 21st November 2022. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
