Here are some ideas on what to include in a bridal package to maximise your income in the run up to this year's spring/summer weddings:
- Consultation. Start with a quick consultation to discuss the bride's expectations and settle on the colour she feels most comfortable with. Talk about pre-tan prep, exfoliating beforehand to create a seamless finish and the importance of following up with a rich moisturiser to lock-in the radiant colour.
- Series of treatments. Include a number of tanning treatments in the run up to the big day. Offering three tanning sessions over a three month period will boost your income and give the bride the chance to get a feel for the depth of colour she'd most prefer for her walk down the aisle. You could trial contoured tanning as well as a basic all-over tan with a single solution to see what suits your client's complexion.
- Party atmosphere and extras. On the day of the final tan offer the bride a glass of bubbly to make her feel extra special. Prepare a goody bag with a selection of samples that will help to prolong her caramel colour well into the honeymoon, such as Radiance Body Balm and Balance Body Wash.
- The groom. Why not add in a free tanning treatment for the groom? There's no reason why his skin shouldn't look flawless on the day; even a gentle touch of 6% colour will enhance his muscle tone, camouflage scars and balance out an uneven complexion. You could even create a discounted package for the entire bridal party that includes the bridesmaids, maid of honour and the best man.
