Start with the right percentage
For first-time clients, begin with 8%. This guarantees a natural, confidence-building result and encourages repeat visits. Explain that they can adjust up or down next time depending on the depth they prefer.
Match DHA strength to skin tone
An orange tan should never happen. Applying a high % DHA to fair skin can cause warmth. Start low, then build up for future sessions.
Consider seasonal changes
Winter tans appear darker because natural skin tone drops. Recommend dropping down one level during colder months.
Use Barrier Cream for flawless edges
Apply Sienna X Barrier Cream to hands, knees, elbows, ankles, tattoos and dry areas for smoother, more even application.
Understand the guide colour
The guide shade is simply there to help you spray evenly. It does not always match the final developed colour, as DHA reacts differently depending on natural melanin.
Set accurate client expectations
Our guide colour is intentionally subtle so clients can continue their day looking naturally bronzed. After showering, the guide rinses away — reassure them their developed colour will bloom over 6–8 hours.
Ensure visible tan lines
Recommend underwear or bikini lines so clients can clearly see their tan depth once developed.
Optimise your solution usage
Mark your bottle daily with the number of bodies sprayed. A 1L bottle should provide 18–20 tans. Add staff initials if working in a team so you can track who may have the gun open too wide.
Adjust technique when usage is high
If you’re halfway through your bottle and haven’t reached at least 9 bodies, reduce your density dial and work closer (one hand-distance). This reduces wastage and boosts profitability.
Avoid drips for a perfect finish
Clients should have a subtle sheen — never wetness. If drips appear: buff, adjust your dial, and stand closer.

UK Delivery
Professional/trade orders within the UK are shipped using a next working day delivery service with either Royal Mail or DPD.

Order Cut-Off Times
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched from our warehouse the same working day.
Orders placed after 3pm, or on a weekend or bank holiday, will be dispatched the next working day.

Republic of Ireland Delivery
Republic of Ireland orders are shipped on a 2 working day delivery service.

Republic of Ireland orders are shipped on a DAP basis, meaning you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or courier handling fees that may be payable before delivery.
International Delivery
We offer international delivery using DHL Express Worldwide.
Delivery prices are calculated at checkout based on your delivery destination and order details.
International orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched the same working day where possible. Orders placed after 1pm, or on weekends or bank holidays, will be dispatched the next working day.
International delivery times vary by destination and will be shown at checkout where available.
Please note that international delivery prices calculated at checkout may be subject to change. If the shipping cost has been calculated incorrectly, we will contact you before dispatch. In some cases, we may need to request an additional payment or send the order using an alternative economy service.

Delivery Issues
Once your order has left our warehouse, it will be handled by Royal Mail, DPD, DHL or another courier depending on the delivery service.
If your tracking shows your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check:
- The delivery photo or proof of delivery
- Your safe place
- With neighbours or reception
- The delivery address entered at checkout
If you still cannot locate your parcel, please contact our Customer Service Team and we will advise on the next steps.
Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct at checkout, as incorrect details may cause delays or failed deliveries.

Our returns policy is as follows:
- Delivery/postage charges will NOT be refunded.
- A request must be made in writing to The Spray Tan Cubicle Company Ltd/Sienna X within 14 days from receipt of your order.
- ALL returns must have arrived back to Sienna X goods in department within 21 days of original purchase.
- If you wish to return unwanted goods, please ensure that any product you have bought is in original condition and unaltered (for example, the addition of personalised logos), unworn/unused and sent back to us within the original packaging.
- Refunds will be subject to the purchase price.
- Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.
How to return items
If you would like to return your item, please call our customer service team on 01905 727070 and quote your delivery postcode to arrange a return.
We are NOT able to accept unscheduled returns, please speak with our customer service team before returning any items.
Please take care when returning your product.
Ensure all items are suitably packaged and protected for transit to avoid damage or leakage.
The warehouse are not able to accept unsuitably packaged items that have subsequently been damaged in transit.
You are required to enclose your:

For your own protection, please obtain a proof of postage from the carrier, as we do not accept responsibility for lost parcels.
We reserve the right to refuse your return or charge a final fee for damaged or altered products that are not in a resalable condition.

Processing Returns + Refunds
For UK orders, please allow up to 10 working days for a refund to be processed.
