Promote, promote and promote some more – we can’t stress enough how important it is to promote your business constantly if you really want to be successful.

Make your customers feel special – if you offer tea/coffee, be sure to do it every time.

Ask your customers to provide their date of birth on their consultation cards. Keep a record of all your customers’ birthdays and send them a card, discount voucher or small gift – they’ll really love the personal touch.

Suggest that your customers refer their friends to you, but be sure to make it worth their while by offering an incentive, like a free tan for every 5 new customers they put your way for example.

Invest in some Sienna X business cards that double up as loyalty cards so you can advertise your services and at the same time give your customers a great reason to keep coming back to you so they can save stamps on their loyalty card towards a free treatment or retail product.

Ask for feedback from your customers – what do they love about your salon? What could you improve on? Why do they keep coming back? Ask customers to fill in feedback forms in return for entry into a monthly prize draw – remember to act on the feedback though !
