A national drive to highlight the dangers of using sunbeds and the importance of regularly checking the body for signs of skin cancer starts today.
Sun Awareness Week is an annual campaign designed to educate people on the best ways to prevent cancer by protecting their skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays (UV rays) that can damage their skin cells. These rays are naturally produced by the sun but they are also emitted by sunbeds.
We’ve been championing the cause to raise sun awareness since we began but we’ve also been letting people know that they don’t need to sacrifice on their tan to stay safe. Over the years we have made it our mission to create a fantastic range of fake tan products that provide consumers with a safe alternative to tanning in the sun and using sunbeds. (more…)

Get ready for the Strictly Come Dancing Tour!

It’s almost time for the stars to don their dancing shoes and replenish their spray tans!
The spectacular road show event will cover 12 UK cities between January and February.
High heels at the ready? The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 Live Tour is due to kick off this Friday, which means a host of celebrities will be hitting the dance floor to strut their stuff, impress the judges and wow the crowds with their swivelling hips and shimmying bronzed torsos.
Sienna X is the official tanning supplier for the road show so we are especially looking forward to the start of this month-long extravaganza where famous faces like Jason Donovan and Chelsee Healey will cha cha their way to the spotlight and dazzle the audience with their choreographed moves and gorgeous glows. Winners of the latest series, singer Harry Judd and professional dancer Aliona Vilani, will be headlining the show, taking part in a variety of dancing styles including the foxtrot, paso doble, tango, salsa and jive.
However, all of the contestants will also be sporting a glamorous Sienna X tan, which will highlight the natural curves of their body, camouflage their blemishes and ensure that their skin looks radiant and fresh. (more…)

Three famous faces have managed to hotfoot it to the final.
Who will win the dancing accolade?
Fourteen hip-swivelling celebrities have strut their stuff on the dance floor hoping to be crowned the 2011 Strictly Come Dancing champion over the last few months but just three remain for this weekend’s final!
The trio of contestants who have managed to lambada their way to the last hurdle include Australian performer Jason Donovan, actress Chelsea Healey and McFly singer Harry Judd.
The BBC1 flagship program is in its ninth series this year and has been billed as the most successful series in the show’s history since it began in 2004. Last week actress Holly Valance and television presenter Alex Jones were voted off in a tense semi final but Donovan and Healey managed to achieve a perfect score for the first time. (more…)
